Migration of data from the old EHR system to the new one. Creation of an Interactive table “Provider occupancy, clinic attendance and patient attendance reasons.”

Since the clinic was expanding very much, it was decided to create and implement a centralized EHR system in the clinic.

The aim of this project was to:

  1. Needs assessment. Through negotiation with the main stakeholders of the medical center, the requirements of the clinic were determined, such as the types of patient data that should be collected, how data is stored and accessed, reporting requirements and the performance of different types of doctors.

  1. Provider selection: Once the clinical requirements were determined, the next step was to select the appropriate EHR provider. This included evaluating vendors based on factors such as cost, functionality, scalability, and compatibility with existing systems.

My task was that I had to communicate and collaborate with the IT department, project manager, funding department and vendors. This helped me to understand how the new EHR system would be designed for further analysis and data flow control.

  1. System configuration: The EHR system was configured according to the requirements of the clinic. This included setting up user accounts, configuring security settings, creating templates for clinical documentation, and tweaking the system to align with clinic workflows.
